Stated Purpose
"to inspire hope in women who were sexually abused as children or adolescents by providing healing services through educational retreats, support groups, and online resources; to educate and empower parents and caregivers to protect children from sexual abuse through community and online resources; to advocate for open discussions about sexual abuse through community dialogue and social awareness."
Younique Foundation raises awareness of the psychological effects in women who suffered from sexual abuse as a child or adolescent and provides these women with on-site counseling. The organization hosts a retreat where participants support each other and learn skills that can help them find individual healing. Outpatient services are provided to some local clients for long-term care. In addition, Younique Foundation works to lead a public dialogue to discuss abuse and educate parents so they can protect their children from sexual abuse.
