Organization for Autism Research (OAR) reports that it is dedicated to the advancement of applied autism research and aims to directly impact the day-to-day lives of autistic individuals. The organization funds autism research through two annual grants programs: the Applied Research Competition and the Graduate Research Grant program. The Applied Research Competition awards grants of up to $50,000 for research related to diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and quality of life across the life span. The Graduate Research Program awards grants between $1,000 and $2,000 to graduate students studying autism.
