Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) works to promote greater awareness about the problem of substance-impaired driving and underage drinking, to mobilize communities in eliminating these problems, and to support and provide advocacy services to drunk and drugged driving victims and their families. The organization's campaigns to eliminate drunk driving are focused on four priorities: supporting high-visibility law enforcement, advocating for ignition interlock laws for all drunk driving offenders, developing advanced technology, including driver alcohol detection system for safety (DADSS) and taking personal responsibility to always designate a non-drinking driver.
