Entertainment Industry Foundation meets the 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) focuses on four areas: health, education, the environment, and poverty/hunger. The organization creates programs and events that address these issues by informing, aiming to inspire, and raising funds for sustainable initiatives. EIF also responds to urgent needs resulting from natural or manmade disasters. The organization's Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) initiative raises funds for cancer research, largely through a biennial televised event carried by more than 20 networks and cable outlets. EIF reports that SU2C aims to generate awareness, educate the public on cancer prevention, and help more people diagnosed with cancer become long-term survivors. The organization's National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance seeks the eradication of colon cancer by raising funds to support science and promote screening. EIF's Music for Relief program brings the entertainment community together to support disaster response. The program is dedicated to providing aid to survivors and communities affected by natural and humanitarian disasters to help them recover and rebuild. The organization's Delivering Jobs campaign strives to create pathways to one million employment and leadership opportunities for people with autism, and intellectual and/or developmental disabilities by 2025. EIF also provides fiscal sponsorship services in the way of financial and administrative support to allow the organization's partners to focus on their mission, identify established beneficiaries, manage grants to increase partner impact, and provide access to a team to help guide strategy and leverage industry partnerships.
