Luke's Wings reports that it provides complimentary airfare to families of wounded, ill, and injured service members to keep military families connected on the service member's journey to recovery. The organization has four transportation assistance programs: Wounded Warrior Transportation, Major Illness, Special Operations, and Veterans in Hospice Care. In 2019, the organization reports that it provided transportation assistance for 453 wounded warriors, 117 cancer patients, 107 special operators, 48 veterans in hospice, and 33 other individuals.
