?to lead the fight to cure and treat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with ALS and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.?
ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter (ALSA WI) offers programs and services free of charge to individuals living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and their families throughout Wisconsin. The organization reports providing guidance, information, and resources during the difficult time of change and uncertainty. Specific programs include support groups, ALS certified clinics, communication devices and equipment loan programs, assistance grants, and an annual ALS care and research symposium. During 2020, ALSA WI reports holding monthly virtual support group meetings for individuals with ALS and their families and caretakers.
