Mercy Ships is an international faith-based organization working to increase access to healthcare in the developing world through the deployment of a hospital ship, the Africa Mercy. The organization works with host nations to help fill the gap in health care systems. Mercy Ships provides a variety of education and training programs for medical professionals including surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, administrators and community health workers.
