Stated Purpose
"to passionately embrace, support, and improve the lives of patients and families affected by eosinophil-associated diseases through education and awareness, research, support, and advocacy."
American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders (APFED) reports that it hosts an annual patient education and
awareness conference, EOS Connection. APFED also advocates for medical foods coverage and works to develop and expand its educational materials and e-learning center. The organization developes, publishes, and distributes HES and EoE toolkits, and a new cookbook for those who have restricted diets. The organization also provides funding to supplement the work of the Consortium of Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease Researchers (CEGIR) and co-authors multiple scientific publications in collaboration with CEGIR and NIH.
