SHARP Literacy meets the remaining 17 Standards for Charity Accountability.
SHARP Literacy reports that it operates in Wisconsin to develop curricula and work with educators across 43 public, choice, and charter schools in Milwaukee County and Waukesha County in order to educate urban-based students from 3rd grade through 5th grade, with a focus on teaching science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). The organization's programming utilizes classroom learning with visual arts integration, educational tours, and community engagement. SHARP Literacy also offers after school and summer learning programs. In 2018-2019, the organization states that its Design Through Code program served more than 1,000 students at 11 schools. In addition, SHARP Literacy served 375 students through its summer learning program in collaboration with 16 community sites.
