Child Sponsorship
ICN reports that its sponsorship program costs $35 per month, with funds covering school fees, books, and supplies for sponsored children. In addition, an advocate will be provided for a sponsored child who ensures that the child is receiving education, food, and medical care. Sponsorship funds are also used for personalized lessons, tutoring, art classes, leadership training, and choir programs. ICN states that sponsors will receive a packet of information about the organization, as well as a biography and picture of the sponsored child. Sponsors may correspond with their child and may choose to go on a service trip to visit their sponsored child in the child's home country (sponsorship fees do not cover travel expenses).
