The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund (NBCCF) works to increase funding for research, access to health care for patients, and advocacy for decisions that affect breast cancer. The organization's Center for Advocacy Training has developed programs to teach breast cancer activists about breast cancer science and public policy so that they may advocate for the eradication of breast cancer. In addition, NBCCF hosts the Advocate Leadership Summit which is an annual gathering of breast cancer advocates from across the country and around the world. The organization also hosts Project LEAD which is NBCCF's program to train advocates in the fundamentals of breast cancer science, research design, and critical-thinking skills.
