YMCA of Dane County works to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities. The organization reports that it works side-by-side with their neighbors so that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected and secure. As reported by the organization, no child, family or adult is turned away for the inability to pay. In addition, the organization reports that it helps prevent social isolation for seniors, helps manage and prevent diabetes, and partnered with Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin to help families in need.
